Browsing CL, and I come across this. How is this even possible? More importantly, how do I come across this while looking at Corvettes? Oh yeah, that special "Corvette Red" mentioned in the ad. Right.

That would be pretty cool for a collection, or a Chevy museum. But I don't see much other value.

They're kind of cool in an obscure way.

Yeah, for sure. There's no way in hell I would spend $13.5k on a Celebrity, though. Even if it is mint.

That has to have the worst fake grille I've seen in quite a while. No, scratch that. It's the worst fake grille I've ever seen.

Well, I guess if you HAD to drive a Celebrity and no other car, this is the one you'd pick. But, thankfully, we don't live in that world.
On the subject of indifferently styled, mediocre GM sport sedans, I kind of wouldn't mind having an Oldsmobile Touring Sedan though.

Oh God. Agreed. It looks like a gray piece of plastic with a Chevy emblem glued to it.

If that was say, $500, I would buy that and drive the shit out of it for one winter, and one winter only.

Lol, good point. That would truly be terrible to live in a world with Chevy Celebrities as the only mode of transportation. *shudders*
You know what? I agree, oddly. I would rather have a Pontiac 6000 STE, though.

Doesn't seem like these guys would mind a world of Celebrities though.
When they were clean and new and in the right color, a Eurosport could look OK, trouble was they depreciated to neglected, bottom of the barrel transportation within 3 years.

I don't think I could even do that. That car is WAY too flashy for what it is. Though, for $500, I'd be tempted.

That's mid-michigan for ya...

Love those. They're so incredibly rare and so full of '80s epicness. Want.

LOL. Because a Celebrity would totally fit in at a country club. Riiiight.
Yeah, understandable. Though, even with nearly new examples, like the one I posted, I don't like them. Way too flashy for a FWD V6 sedan.

Lol, yep.

Oh come on, its clearly a successful business executive's car.
(Pay no attention to what GM's marketing is also telling prospective Oldsmobile and Buick buyers)

Lol, didn't notice that. Improper grammar FTW.

Original tires? Does it have original oil too? So much cp. Yikes.

Really? I'll give you the rarity factor, but, for $13.5k, why not buy a mint C4, which has 100 times more 80's epicness? Guess everyone gas their own opinions. I would love to see someone on here buy it.

CLEARLY. I love how the dude the beginning of the video completely interrupts the other guy.
"Just yesterday I...."
"LOOK AT MY CELEBRITY."
Lol, also a good point.

I literally had nothing better to do, so I found these gems.
This "RARE AND PRETTY" Eurosport VR also came in WAGON (Sunfore GT rims not included)!
They also sold matching apparel, because the 80s.

Completely agreed. I have no idea why anyone would pay $ for this.

LOL. Rare and pretty. Huh, I actually like the wagon version. Not really sure why, though.
SO 80'S. That's hilarious.

Oh, I'd never buy it. But my first car was a '92 Beretta and I spent all of 2005 through 2007 on GM forums. I was on a Beretta forum, W-body forum, A-body forum, N-body forum, etc. I guess weird GM fwd stuff from the '80s and '90s will always have a special place in my heart. That Beretta brought me into the world of being a car enthusiast, as lackluster of an overall car it may have been.
